Founded in 1891, the Club was originally built as a private residence and now operates primarily as a private member’s club but also allows non-members to book their fabulous rooms for weddings or events. Situated in the beautiful surroundings of Belgravia, adjacent to Hyde Park Corner and a short walk from Victoria Station, the Club’s location is second to none and can also offer the happy couple the use of Belgravia Gardens for the essential wedding photos.
The stunning listed building is licensed to hold wedding ceremonies and couples can choose from 4 licensed private rooms accommodating up to 150 guests. Alternatively, couples can opt to marry at the nearby churches of St Paul Knightsbridge, St Columba or St Michael’s in Chester Square before heading to the Club for their reception. Menus can be tailor made to match budgets with the help of the Head Chef and wines suggested by the in-house Sommelier and the Club can offer the flexibility of set packages starting from £135 per person or exclusive venue hire from £4000, both inclusive of VAT.
With 39 bedrooms available in the original Clubhouse and a complimentary bridal suite for the happy couple, the Club can also offer weekend exclusivity of all their private banqueting rooms – another rarity in London. You will also be allocated a wedding organiser at the Club to personally advise, assist and guide you through every step of planning your perfect day – the team understand your Wedding Day should be remembered for years to come – for all the right reasons!
