The Club regularly arranges exhibitions of art by Scottish artists or artists whose work has a Scottish dimension. The Club’s own art and history is beautifully captured in “The Caledonian Collection” – an illustrated History of the Club through its art. Recent exhibitions have featured works by Elizabeth Blackadder, Moy Mackay and Arvind Limaye, with a planned exhibition by Gerard Burns.
It seemed a natural development to invite Scottish schools to exhibit a selection of works by their students. Schools participating are Loretto, Hutchesons’, Dollar Academy, Strathallan & Gordonstoun.
The quality and style coming out of schools is quite remarkable. Members and their guests are invited to view the exhibition in the Drawing Room during the dates above.
IN ADDITION THERE WILL BE A PRIVATE VIEW FOR MEMBERS AND THE PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS, HOSTED BY THE CLUB AND LYON & TURNBULL, ON THURSDAY 3RD MARCH FROM 6.00 – 7.30 PM
