A chance meeting at the Fleming Gallery between former Club Chairman, David Coughtrie and Arthur Watson, President of the Royal Scottish Academy, resulted in an agreement for the RSA to lend the Club works of art from its collection in Edinburgh, which can be seen in various location in the Clubhouse. On Wednesday 17 February the Arts Group have organised an evening with Arthur Watson which will be an opportunity for us to thank the RSA for the generous loan of the five paintings. The talk will include a description of all the works and a presentation entitled The Royal Scottish Academy: A Decade of Change, it is open to all Members.
