The Caledonian Club is a truly special place and because of its history, elegance and unique style we are one of the most popular venues in central London. The Club hosts many events for various Scottish charities and organisations. The Caledonian Society of London usually holds its dinner at the Club and the guest speaker for the 178th Session on 19th of March, commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the Royal Caledonian Education Trust, was TV presenter, broadcaster and world cyclist Mark Beaumont.
Mark has taken viewers of his epic documentaries to over 100 countries and last year he led the BBC coverage of the build up to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. In the next expedition, starting on 9th April, Mark will attempt to bring home the dreamed Cairo to Cape Town World Record, aiming 150 miles a day.
