Christmas Dining at The Caledonian Club

Sarah Spreckley on behalf of Park Lane Events

Food has always played an important role in celebrations all over the world regardless of culture or religion – it represents our national identity, honours our heritage and most importantly, brings people together.
With the festive season nearly upon us, Christmas provides the perfect opportunity to gather friends, family or colleagues together around the dinner table and reflect on the year gone by; why not bring your celebration to The Caledonian Club and let us take care of you and your guests? Offering the very best in Scottish hospitality, we have various private dining options for our members and non-members and would love to welcome you.

Founded in 1891, our stunning listed building boasts a variety of elegant rooms in which to enjoy a private festive lunch or dinner; from the intimate Oval Room (above) that can accommodate 16 for a private dinner to the impressive Johnnie Walker Room with a seated capacity of 170 – our Club will guarantee the warmest of welcomes this Christmas. For groups of 10-50 guests, we have 5 stylish spaces that can be transformed to provide the perfect setting for private lunches or dinners, including our cosy Library (below)

Our in-house event team and chef are on hand to suggest and guide you through from enquiry to event to ensure you are looked after at every step of the process – with seasonal dishes such as Fillet of Scotch Salmon, Chestnut and Garlic soup and traditional Norfolk Roast Turkey on the menu – there will be sure to be something to tickle all taste buds and we will ensure all dietary requirements are catered for. We can even include a whisky tasting in the proceedings – there’s no better place in London to sample a wee dram than at The Caledonian Club!

The Club still has the selected dates below available in 2019 including exclusive use (dry hire) on New Years’ Eve – why not toast 2020 and the start of a brand new decade with your nearest and dearest and sing Auld Lang Syne in a truly Scottish setting?

December 12th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 19th or 20th

Alternatively, we can provide the perfect venue to celebrate Burns Night in January – for more information, head to www.caledonianclub.com or email the team on banqueting@nullcaledonianclub.com
