Scotland was voted the world’s most welcoming country back in 2017 by Rough Guides in their reader awards and here at The Caledonian Club in London, we are proud to extend that warm welcome to all that come through our doors. Founded in 1891 by Neville Campbell, The Caledonian Club was originally built as a private residence and has evolved over the years to offer superb conference and banqueting facilities for its members, guests and non-members. Located in beautiful Belgravia, adjacent to Hyde Park Corner and just a short walk from Victoria, our stunning listed building is now home to an impressive choice of elegant spaces that can be booked privately for a variety of events from 10 to 250 guests.
The Club has seen various changes through the decades in order to meet with the demands of the public and the need to move with the times. The membership is now made up of both men and women but you do not have to be a member to hold an event with us! Similarly, the building has seen changes that have taken place over the years in order to bring the Club into the 21st century with the major development and modernisation of 9A, adjacent to the main entrance. The extension to the original Club, formally opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth on St Andrews Day in 2006 now provides additional accommodation and enhanced banqueting facilities for both social and corporate events. Boasting a private entrance, guests are guaranteed the warmest of welcomes to their event through the doors at 9A and we can even organise a Scottish piper to add to the experience!
From the intimate Oval Room that can accommodate smaller meetings to the impressive Johnnie Walker Room with a seated capacity of 120 or standing capacity of 250, The Caledonian Club offers both members and non-members a fabulous location to meet, dine or network in style.
