Lyndsey Taylor, Park Lane Events, on behalf of The Caledonian Club

With much excitement, the Club was finally able to open this month for Members to be able to stay overnight, enjoy chefs delights on the Terrace as well as having plenty of space around the club itself.  This is enabling staff and Members alike to be able to prepare for September when events of up to 30 people are able to take place (and higher numbers from October all being well) Hurrah!

Once again government guidelines have enabled further decisions to be finalised with regards to the safety of events taking place which is absolute priority.

With new capacities in place for all function rooms, clients are eager to hear what the ‘new normal’ is and how their events can now take place at their favourite club. What is the maximum number of guests allowed in the space now? Do take a look and click on the brief Video tour showing all the function rooms.

Fortunately, the Johnnie Walker in particular lends itself for exclusive use very well for 30 people with a separate entrance and its own staircase and lift on the opposite side of the club to the members entrance. With the advantage of copious amount of natural daylight on a very quiet street in Belgravia, it’s a perfect choice, especially during these times.  Take a look and click here for a short video of the Johnnie Walker.

All other 7 event spaces are still available including the Library and Morrison room which has proved to be even more popular for filming as lock down has allowed the room to be more available, social distance is no problem here for 2 or 3 people and a camera!  Take a look and click here for a short video of the library and here for the Morrison Room.

If, however you are looking for a wonderfully intimate space, the Oval room is now suitable for 8 guests socially distancing but has the added bonus of the beautiful terrace leading out through its own private patio doors. Take a look and click here for a  short video of the Oval Room.

We certainly can’t wait to see the rooms in use once again and being able to give the warm welcome the Club is known for, but with repeat bookings already confirmed in the diary, you need to be quick to book!

If you missed last month’s blog on the opening of the extension and Royal visits, you could read it here
