‘AN EVENING OF SCOTTISH ART’

Hosted by Lachlan Goudie, the presenter of the recent BBC TV series The Story of Scottish Art, this evening of discussion will explore the subject through the eyes of artists, curators, experts and enthusiasts. Speakers include Andrew Marr, Alice Strang, James Knox, Deborah Clarke and Nick Curnow. The evening will be moderated by TV art historian and dealer Dr Bendor Grosvenor. The lecture will take place in conjunction with a retrospective exhibition of the work of Lachlan Goudie’s father, Alexander Goudie RP RGI (1933-2004), the ‘Don Quixote of Glasgow Artists’ according to Sir Timothy Clifford, a former director of the National Gallery of Scotland. This event has been made possible with the generous support of Lyon & Turnbull auctioneers.
